Mault Wilbur, aged about 62, former Jefferson Twp resident just
southeast of here, died Aug. 26, 1951 at his home in Toledo, O.
Surviving are the wife, Sarah; four sons; three daughters; two
brothers, Clarence of Fort Wayne, and Walter of Ligonier; and a
sister, Mrs. Ralph Gallup, Wawaka. Funeral was Wednesday morning
in Toledo. Graveside rites and burial in Rose Hill Cemetery
followed, Rev. C. E. Johnson officiating. + 8-?-1951

Bill Guymon, 88, a Parsons Presbyterian Manor resident, formerly of
Seminole, Okla., died at 5:10 a.m. today, Dec 11, 2003, at the Manor.
He had been in failing health. Arrangements are under the direction
of Swearingon Funeral Home in Seminole. Carson-Wall Funeral Home of
Parsons is handling local arrangements and will announce further
obituary details and funeral arrangements.

Bill Guymon
A memorial services will be held at a later date in Seminole for
longtime resident, Bill Guymon. The body will be cremated and burial
will be at the Resthaven Cemetery in Seminole. Funeral arrangements
will be under the direction of the Swearingen Funeral Home of
Seminole. Arrangements in Kansas will be under the direction of
Carson-Wall Funeral Home. Guymon died at 5:10 a.m. Thursday, Dec.
11, 2003, at the age of 88 at the Parsons Presbyterian Manor due to
failing health. He was born July 15, 1915, in Oliver Springs, Tenn.
to Phil and Lula (Giles) Davis and was adopted by the Guymon family
at the age of nine. He was raised in McAlester and after high
school, he attended the University of Arkansas and graduated from
Freed Hardeman Seminary at Henderson, Tenn. Guymon then enlisted in
the U.S. Marine Corps and was stationed stateside during World War
II. He was a member of the Duncan Lions Club, while living in
Duncan. After being discharged in 1945, he became a Church of
Christ minister and pastored churches in Seminole, Henryetta,
Healdton, Duncan, Sapulpa, Randlett, Texas, California, and Missouri.
After retiring, he and his wife settled in Seminole. Guymon and
Martha Akers Knowles were united in marriage on May 9, 1938 in
Wellington, Kan. She survives him at the Parsons Presbyterian Manor.
In addition to his wife, Martha, he is also survived by two sons,
Lance Guymon of Parsons, Kan. and J. Carl Guymon of Broken Arrow; two
daughters, Shirley Branson of Meade, Kan. and Sharon George of Hemet,
Calif.; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one sister,
Virgie Lane of Iowa Park, Texas. He was preceded in death by two
brothers and one sister.

Seminole, American Cancer Society or Maud Carpenters Children's Home in
Wichita, Kan. Service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Church of Christ of
Seminole with Chris Stinnett and Ron Fletcher of Norman officiating.
Swearingen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
