Mrs. Bertha M Savage, 63, of 210 1/2 Main street, died at 5:43 a.m. Tuesday at her home after a month's heart illness. Surviving are a son Homer "Able" Savage of Columbus, former manager of the Elmhurst lodge; a daughter, Mrs. Frances Golden of Miami, Fla.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Born in McConnelsville, Mrs. Savage moved here 23 years ago. She was a nurse's aide at Bethesda hospital, a member of the Royal Neighbors lodge in McConnelsville, and a Methodist. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Keck funeral home. Rev. E.T. Acord will officiate, and burial will be in McConnelsville cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.

GOLDIE M. FOLK, 98, of Hicksville, Ohio, died Wednesday in Fountain Manor Nursing Center. The Hicksville native was the widow of Riley, who died in 1969. Surviving are a daughter, Vivian Wahl of Hicksville; sons, Richard of Hicksville and Raymond of Bryan, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 20 great- grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Services are 2 p.m. tomorrow in Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, where calling continues until 9 tonight and is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Preferred memorials are gifts to charity.
