SWEENY -- Lila Maurine Winscott, 77, of Sweeny, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000. She was born March 9, 1923, in Killeen. She was a member of the Brazoria County Art League. Survivors: daughters, Juanette Winscott of Houston and Judy Autenrieth of Corpus Christi; sons, Gary Weldon Winscott and Norman Curtis Winscott, both of Sweeny; brother, Lee ''Kootch'' Carter of West Columbia; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, James Curtis Winscott; parents. Visitation was 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000 at Baker Funeral Home. Graveside services were 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sweeny Cemetery. Baker Funeral Home, West Columbia.
