CONESVILLE MAN, ILL TWO YEARS, DIES THURSDAY
Edward H. Watts, aged 49, former employe of the Pennsylvania railroad
company, died at his home in Conesville this morning from the effects
of a nervous breakdown. He suffered a breakdown two years ago and
had been confined to his home since that time. He had been employed
with the railroad company for 20 years. Mr. Watts was born January
17, 1882, in Adams Mills, the son of Howard and Sarah Watts. He was
married to Sue A. Tilton, also of Adams Mills, December 22, 1904.
He united with the Presbyterian church at Adams Mills when he was a
young man. There are surviving the widow, three children, Mabel, who
teaches in the New Guilford schools; Victor and Edward Watts, both of
the late home; two brothers, Carl of Adams Mills and Theodore of
Trenton, Iowa, and one sister, Mrs. Eura Slaughter of Willowbrook,
California. Funeral services will be held at the late home at 2
o'clock Sunday afternoon in charge of Rev. Ray Harrison of Conesville
and Rev. Greeg of Adams Mills. Burial will be made in South Lawn
cemetery.

Saturday evening at the bride's home in Walnut Grove. The ceremony
was performed by Rev. Enoch Aynes in the presence of the immediate
relatives. The bride is the daughter of Scott Langley and Mr. Hupp
is the son of Frank Hupp. He is employed at the Fulwider planning
mill and is an industrious young man.

Elmer Hunter, 67, of 237 Harris road, a retired Essex Wire employe,
died at 10:14 a.m. Sunday in Bethesda Hospital after a long illness.
Born Aug. 25, 1909 in Kimberly, he had been a Zanesville resident
most of his life. Surviving are his widow, Edith Hunter; a son, John
Hunter of Dresden; five daughters, Mrs. Robert (Phyllis) Grotegeer of
3267 Dillon Falls road, Mrs. Sheldon (Frances) Romine of 213 East
Main street, South Zanesville, Mrs. Ralph (Juanete) Newton of Route
5, Mrs. Frank (Jean) Alexander of 3280 Chandlersville road and Mrs.
Jay (Beulah) Eastman of West Boliver, Pa.; 25 grandchildren; four
great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Grace Gladman of 257 Harris road
and a brother, James Hunter of 1206 Grant street. Friends may call
at Bryan Funeral Home 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday.
