Ex-Zanesville Resident Dies In Columbus
Ward Giannini, 64, of Columbus, a former resident of Zanesville, died
yesterday morning at St. Francis hospital, Columbus, following a
cerebral hemorrhage. He left Zanesville several years ago to make
his home in Columbus. In this city he resided with his grandfather,
Dr. Nimrod Savage, a veterinarian. Surviving are his widow, Florence,
two sons, Lt. James Giannini, who is stationed with the Navy in
Columbus, and Jack of Grand Rapids, Mich., and two cousins, Mrs. S. R.
Deal of the Chandlersville road, and Mrs. Margaret Wilson of Norwood
boulevard. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Monday
afternoon at the Schoedinger funeral home at Columbus. Burial will be
in that city.

Robert M. Russell of Wheat Ridge, an engineer, died Feb. 1 at
Lutheran Hospital. He was 73. Services were Feb. 4 at Mount Olivet
Chapel. Entombment was in Mount Olivet Mausoleum. He was born Aug.
2, 1921, in Loveland. On Aug. 19, 1950, he married Elizabeth Schmitz,
in Denver. Mr. Russell served as treasurer for the Colorado Society
of Professional Engineers. He was a member of the American Society of
Mechanical Engineers for 25 years. He was chief project engineer for
Stearns-Roger Corporation for numerous Hawaiian electric projects and
received an honor from the company upon his retirement in 1979. He
is survived by his wife; two brothers; and five sisters, all of
Denver.
