Boulanger, Tommy Rogers, retired self-employed electronics engineer and musician, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001. Service 10 a.m. today, Resthaven Mortuary. Mr. Boulanger served as Airman USN-1 during the Korean War. He received the good conduct medal, United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service Medal and National Defense Service Medal, while serving in the Navy. He enjoyed gardening, traveling and playing the steel guitar in Eddie McAlvain and the Mavericks band. He was inducted into the Western Swing Hall of Fame in Sacramento, Calif. Preceded in death by parents, Charles M. and Essie G. (Johnson) Boulanger and sisters, Betty Lee and Audrey Herard. Survivors: wife, Rosalie; son, Jon of Goddard; daughters, Cindi Reding of Overland Park, Su Russell of Augusta; brother, Junior of Weslaco, Texas; grandchildren, Cory Boulanger of Goddard, Jedd and Katie Russell of Augusta, Lindsey Harvell of Lawrence. Memorial established with Western Swing Society Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 1414, Rocklin, Calif., 95677.
