HARMAN, Lelia Akers, 95, of Floyd, died Wednesday, March 26, 1997 in a Roanoke hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Harman and son, Marvin T. Harman. Mrs. Harman is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Marjorie Hope and Archa Vaughn Jr., Pulaski, Margaret and C.W. Harman, Floyd; five grandsons and their wives, Archa III and Jackie Vaughn, Purlear, N.C., Mike and Linda Harman, Roanoke, Allen and Anne Harman, Floyd, Tommy and Dale Duncan, Roanoke, Donnie Harman, Mount Airy, N.C.; one granddaughter and her husband, Hope and Tom Sullivan, Chilhowie; three great-grandsons, Brian Harman, Floyd, Matthew Harman, Roanoke, Josh Sullivan, Chilhowie; three great-granddaughters, Holly Duncan, Roanoke, Heather Duncan, Roanoke, Jesselyn Vaughn, Richmond; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lawrence Nuckolls officiating. Burial will follow in Topeco Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
