Funeral arrangements for William A. Lytle, 74, of 1621 Blanco Courts,
who died yesterday morning at a local hospital, are incomplete and
will be announced by Cage-Mills Funeral Home. Lytle was a retired
farmer and had lived here since 1936. Survivors include his wife,
Mrs. Odie Ola Lytle; two sons, L. M. and Co. O. Lytle, all of Corpus
Christi; five daughters, Mrs. Albert Green of Bay City, Mrs. Dale
Meador of Houston, Mrs. J. W. Hale of Odem, Mrs. Monty Grady of Corpus
Christi and Mrs. R. B. Boultinghouse of Bay City; four brothers, A.
L. of Fort Worth, Dewey of Caldwell, Earl and Henry of Los Angeles,
Calif., and 23 grandchildren.

Mault John R was born in Shelby County, Ohio Jan. 24, 1860, the son
of William and Amanda Mault, and was one of a family of 7 children,
4 boys and 3 girls. Two brothers and two sisters with the parents
preceded him in death. One brother, William of Columbia City, and
Mrs. Clara Smith of Garrett remain to mourn. From the age of about
6 years he has lived in Indiana. On July 2, 1886 he married Martha
L. Beck, who with their daughter, Mrs. Ralph Gallup, and 5 sons,
Wilbur, Andrew, Albert, Walter and Clarence, survive. He was a
member of Broadway Christian Church and Kimmell Odd Fellow Lodge.
He passed peacefully away on Aug. 19, 1923, aged 63 years, 6 months
and 25 days. Funeral will be at the M. E. Church today, conducted
by Rev. G. L. Conway. + 8-?-1923

Woerner-McCoy Wedding to Take Place Thursday
The wedding of Miss Betty Ailean McCoy and Carl Woerner is announced
to take place at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon in St Luke's
Lutheran parsonage on Pine street. Rev L F Freyberg will read the
single ring service and the attendants will be the bride's aunt,
Mrs Clare Huffman and her uncle, Harry Hooper. Immediately after
the ceremony the young people will leave for a trip through Ohio
and upon their return will reside on Baker street. Miss McCoy, a
graduate of 1936 class of Lash high school, is the daughter of Mrs
Florence Oswell, 727 Nancy street. For a short time she was
employed by the Mosaic Tile company. Mr Woerner is the son of Mrs
Dora Woerner, Baker street. he attended Lash high school and is
timekeeper for the Mosaic Tile company. Both he and his fiancee are
popular with many friends.

Mrs Betty Marlene Huffman, 49, of 123 1/2 Pine street died at 7 p.m.
Thursday at Good Samaritan Hospital where she had been a patient
eight weeks. She had been ill two years. She was born March 20
1918 in Zanesville, a daughter of Chester and Florence Hooper McCoy.
She spent her lifetime in Zanesville. Mrs Huffman was employed as a
waitress at Question Mark Cafe. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs
Sally Jo Woerner of 123 1/2 Pine street and an uncle, Leonard Hooper
of 101 1/2 Main street. Friends may call at Putnam Chapel of Bolin
Funeral Home 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Huffman Service
Services for Mrs. Betty Arlene Huffman, 49, of 123-1/2 Pine street,
who died at 7 p.m. Feb 8 in Good Samaritan Hospital will be held
at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Putnam avenue chapel of Bolin Funeral
Home. Rev. B. C. Kreis will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn
Cemetery. Survivors include her father, Chester McCoy of 1730 Ridge
avenue, and a daughter, Miss Sally Jo Woerner of the home.
Pallbearers will be John Hillis, Ted Luster, Fred Kitchen, Gerald
Sites, Ralph Vanrick and Jerry Zwelling.
