Tilda C. Dwyer, 93, of Whittier, Calif, died Jan 10 in the Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital. She was born May 20, 1886 in Illinois to James and Sarah Tinsley. She moved to Kansas when a small child and lived most of her life near Atlanta and Cambridge, Kan. She married John C. Dwyer Dec. 19, 1906. he died Dec. 2, 1971, 17 days short of their 65th wedding anniversary. They moved to California in 1943.

Mrs. Dwyer is survived by two sons, Emory A Dwyer of Whittier, Harold Dwyer of La Peunte, Calif; one daughter, Viola Graham of Winfield; 12 grandchilren (sic), 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral services were conducted at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 15 in the Rose Hills Mortuary Memorial Chapel by Gunner Jorgenson. Interment was in Rose Hills Memorial Park near Whittier.

Funeral Sunday for Mrs. George Steffey
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Steffey, 85, wife of George Steffey, and native of Coal Run, Washington county, who died Thursday evening at the home of a daughter, Mrs. George Beebe, 1051 Ridge avenue, will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Coal Run Christian church. Burial will be at that place. She had been making her home with the daughter here for several months. Surviving are her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence McNerney, this city, and Mrs. Steffey; one son, David, of Cincinnati, and a stepson, Elmer Tennell, Independence, Mo.
