Mrs. Watts Dies After Illness
Crooksville, O. -- Mrs. Katie E. Watts, 66, of 33 Buckeye street passed away at Bethesda hospital at 11:00 a.m. yesterday, following illness. She was the widow of the late Emmett Watts and is survived by one son, Sylvester Watts of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Homer Cannon of Crooksville and Mrs. Clara Glass of Crooksville; two half-sisters, Mrs. William Delong and Mrs. Hugh Severance of Zanesville, her stepmother, Mrs. Edward Moore of Zanesville and three half-brothers, Mason, William and Malcom Moore, all of Crooksville. She was a valued member of the Crooksville Methodist church and of Starlight chapter 239 Order of the Eastern Star. Funeral services will be conducted from the Methodist church Sunday afternoon at 2 with Rev. Otto M. Wortman officiating. The body will be taken from the Cannon & Cannon funeral home here to the family home this afternoon. The casket will not be opened at the church, but friends may call at the home.
