Donald Dewey Twyman, 55, of 2255 Old River Road, died at 2:40 pm Sunday at Good Samaritan Medical Center. He had been ill for five years and have been hospitalized since November 16th. Mr. Twyman retired from McGraw -Edison Power System Division in 1974 after 25 years of service. A member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church and a Navy Veteran of World War II, Mr. Twyman was born July 30, 1923, in Zanesville. He was a son of Mrs. Fern Beatty of the home and the late Chester Twyman. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Shirley Loewendick Twyman, whom he married July 23, 1949; a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Peggy) Rouan of 1019 Maple Avenue; a son, D. Daniel of 900 Lent Road; and four grandchildren. Friends may call 7 to 9 pm today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Tuesday at Hillis Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm Tuesday. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 pm Wednesday at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Charles Shannon officiating.
