BONITA - Doyle Thomas Ice, a rancher and farmer, died Tuesday at a Nocona hospital. He was 75. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Bethel Baptist Church in Nocona. Burial will be in Center Point Cemetery. Morris Funeral Home in Nocona is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Ice was a lifelong resident of Bonita. He had served as a deacon and secretary and treasurer for Bonita Baptist Church. Survivors: Wife, Gladys Ice of Bonita; two sons, Donald Ice and Jimmy Ice, both of Nocona; six daughters, Betty Hillard of Iowa Park, Sue Martin and Maxine Moore, both of Fort Worth, Gayle Morgan of Denton, Carole Nance of Richardson and Judy Triestsch of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Bonnie Ellis and Effie Hurley, both of Nocona; brother, Cecil Ice of Bowie; 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral for Mrs. J. R. (Precella) Baker, 64, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Elliott's Chapel of Memories with Alton Baker, 16th and Victoria Church of Christ minister, officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Gap Cemetery. Pallbearers will be L. W. Lackey, Junior Garner, Leon Shipley, Richard Wheless, Troy Crane and Eugene Crane. The family will be at 1617 Oak Street. Mrs. Baker of 1300 Pecan died at 8:45 p.m. Monday in Hendrick Memorial Hospital. She was born Jun 24, 1884 and married James R. Baker at Buffalo Gap Sept. 27, 1901. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Nora Shipley of 1543 N. 19th, Mrs. Lois Lackey of 1325 Pecan and Mrs. Eunice Garner of Clyde; five sons, O. C. of Buffalo Gap, Howard of 525 Cherry, J. W. of 1826 Anson Ave., J. L. of 1617 Peach and Leslie of 1726 S. 4th; and 25 grandchildren.
