J D Young, 82, pottery manufacturer associated with the Hull Potteries at Crooksville, died at his home, 256 West Main street, Crooksville, Sunday night at 10 o'clock following a heart attack. Mr. Young was a stockholder and director of the pottery firm. Surviving are his wife, Minnie Watts Young of the home; two sons, Earl D. and George W. Young of Crooksville; two daughters, Mrs. Leanie Cooper and Mrs. Robert Shockley, both of Crooksville; several brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews. The body was removed to the Cannon & Cannon funeral home at Crooksville where funeral arrangements were incomplete last night.
