Donald Robert Cooper, 50, of Columbus, whose mother, Mrs Charles Cooper lives in Crooksville, died Thursday morning at his home, following a brief illness. Mr. Cooper was born in Columbus, Sept. 14, 1923, a son of Charles and Leanice Young Cooper. He was a member of the Masonic order in Columbus. Surviving in addition to his mother are his widow, Dee Davis Cooper; a son, Michael of Birmingham, Ala.; two daughters, Mrs. Phil (Jane) Beaver of Dayton and Miss Jackie Cooper of the home; three grandchildren. The body was taken to Schoedinger Funeral Home on Zollinger road in Columbus where friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday with burial at Columbus.
