Henson Oscar T, 79, 500 Water St., died at 7:24 a.m. Saturday in McCray Hospital. He was born Nov. 27, 1908 in Ligon, Ky., the son of F. D. and Martha (Cole) Henson. On Feb. 17, 1950 in Paintsville, Ky., he married Rose M. Hatton. He moved to Noble County from South Bend in 1950. He had been a coal miner and construction worker for Roy Munsford Co. in South Bend before his retirement. He attended Salem Community Baptist Church in Ligonier. Surviving are his wife; three sons, James of Ligon, Ky., Ronald of Columbus, Ohio, and Jeffrey of Ligonier; a sister, Rosie Newsom of Sawyersville, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. A son, two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Services will be Tuesday in Salem Community Church. Burial, Sparta Cemetery. + 4-3-19880
