An illness from heart disease resulted in the death of Mrs. Eliza J. Beatty, aged 69, the wife of Alonzo Beatty, which occurred Thursday evening at her home in Washington township. Mrs. Beatty was a member of the M. E. church and besides the hasband is survived by the following children: Mrs. Edna M. Hittle, of Dresden; Mrs. Ollie M Starks, of Washington township, Mrs. Hazel Garrett, of Zanesville, and three brothers: G. B. Atchison of this city; Milton Atchison, of Norwich, and William Atchison, of Columbus.

My gramma was a busy women raising kids. I never once heard her cuss, she never wore pants and she always went to church. Her advice over the years to me was when I quit doing the things I shouldn't be doing things would start going the way I want them to. She was right!... I never knew of gramma working she was too busy raising kids and she never learned how to drive.
