In loving memory of Clayton Charles Mills, 89, who died Saturday, March 19, 2005. Too bad the world has lost Clayton because the world needs more with his sense of humor. He was born January 11, 1916 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to William H. and Ollie Alcinda Clayton Mills. He married Wallace Geraldine Clark June 16, 1937; later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple November 9, 1954. She passed away November 10, 1990. He then married Lois M. Rogers July 30, 1991 in Woodland Hills, California. Worked 12 years Salt Lake City Fire Department Station #1, then started Mills Construction Company which he ran successfully for many years. Survivors include wife, Lois; daughters: Geraldine A. (Dean) Thomas, Karen L. Vlam, Tamara J. (Paul) Meyers and Verlyn (Reed) Ekins; four stepdaughters: Patty J. (Jack) Boyster, Donna C. (Tony) Trujillo, Debbie L. Flores, Denise (Larry) Wilson; sister, Lorraine (Robert) Krall; 32 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, sister, two brothers, son-in-law, Heber A. A. Vlam. Funeral service will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd where a viewing will be held 10-10:45 a.m. prior to service. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
