Event: 1868
, moved to Minnesota with his married children James and Minerva
Father: George Longley
Mother: Grace Savage
Notes:
The location of Wildman's birth comes from his son James' death
certificate.
In the 1840 census
there is a male 60-70 years of age in the household
of Wildman. This might be either Lavina's or Wildman's father.
Lavina's parents were James and Eleanor
Savage. There is a census entry for that family in both 1840
and 1850. The male likely isn't
her father - as he and Eleanor are accounted for in both
the 1840 and 1850 censuses.
George Longley or his wife Grace can't be found after 1840. One possibility is that
Grace died in 1840 shortly after George and she were enumerated
and George moved in with Wildman before Wildman's household was
enumerated (George was enumerated twice). The 1840 mortality schedule
(if it exists) might prove that theory.
