CROOKSVILLE - Pearl Watts, 59, of Crooksville died at 5:25 a.m. Wednesday in the Perry County Home at New Lexington where he had been ill for six weeks. He was born Dec. 10, 1890, in Clayton Township of Perry County, the son of James and Louie Sheirs Watts. The deceased had lived at Dover for 18 years before returning to Crooskville last year. He was employed by the masonry Construction Company of Dover until his retirement. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Lenora Wahl of Roseville, and several nieces and nephews. His wife, the former Georgia Daley preceded him in death. The body was removed to the Crooksville Chapel of the Cannon and Cannon Funeral Home where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Ralph Tucker will officiate and interment will be in Mount Horeb Cemetery near Crooksville. Friends may call today at the funeral home chapel.
