Lawrence Savage Dies in Hospital
Lawrence K Savage, 61, of Roseville, formerly of Fultonham, died Friday afternoon at Bethesda hospital, after six weeks illness. He leaves three sons, Fred, Leon, and Lewis, all of Roseville; two daughters, Mrs. Ivy Smith of Fultonham, and Mrs. Etta Angler of Adamsville; five brothers, Albert of Crooksville Route 2, Clarence of Roseville, Clinton and Marion of Crooksville, Route 2, and James of Millersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Rose of Roseville, and Mrs, Myrtle Rhodes of Roseville; and 17 grandchildren. Mr. Savage was employed by the Nelson-McCoy Pottery of Roseville until his illness. His parents were Oscar and Rebecca Nichols Savage, early residents of McLuney near Crooksville. The body has been taken to the home of the son, Lewis of Race street, Roseville from the Cannon and Cannon funeral home there. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Roseville Church of Nazarene. Rev. Cecil Hayes will officiate, and burial will be in Crooksville cemetery.
