ELKINS - Ollie L Longley, 88, of Elkins died March 27, 2001 at Springdale Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 31, 1912, in Hollis, Okla., to John E. and Elizabeth Bowley Srader. She was a homemaker and a Pentecostal. Her husband, Clem P. Longley died in 1988. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Carl Longley and Connie of Elkins; two brother Reina Srader of Albuguerque, N.M., and Forrest Srader of Carlsbad, N.M.; one sister, Francis Mason of Springdale; several half brothers and half sisters; two grandchildren, David Longley and Michelle Brooks; three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Tuttle Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.

Two hours before the game, Mrs. Longley presented the coach with a daughter, the first addition to the family. And Longley didn't reach the football field until 15 minutes before game-time. He admitted later that it was rather difficult to keep his mind on football.

James C Savage, 91, of 1680 Adamsville road died at 10 o'clock Saturday night in the Kuhn rest home. He was born Dec 22 1867 at Stockport and had been a house painter for many years. Surviving are a sister, Mrs Vergie Omen of West Main street; a son-in-law, Marion Walpole with whom he had made his home; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. The body was taken to the Ranson funeral home where services will be held at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with the Rev H M Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in McConnelsville cemetery.
