SHIPLET Marilyn Audine, age 78, passed away August 31, 2000. Born November 30, 1921, in Covington, OK, to William Henry Hunter and Mary Miranda Henshaw. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Merle F. Shiplet, in January of this year. Marilyn was a member of the Daughter's of the American Revolution and an active member of Sharon Baptist Church. She enjoyed her many friends in the fellowship of the church. She enjoyed whatever life had to offer and thrived on spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Joyce & husband Jerry Crews, of Norman, Linda & husband Jim Huff, of OKC; grandchildren, Brenda Dalton, Doug Crews, Tracy Groves & Jimmy Huff; great-grandchildren, Jared, Justin & Joshua Dalton, Dillon Crews, Marleigh Groves & Lillian Huff; sisters, Lois Daniel & Mildred Nay; and numerous nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William Henshaw Hunter & Ralph Lee Hunter. Services will be held Tues., Sept. 5, 2000, at 10:30 AM, at the Sharon Baptist Church, 628 Cass, Moore, OK 73160. Interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Family suggests memorial donations may be made to Sharon Baptist Church. Services under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel in Moore, OK.
