Mrs James W (Audrey) Crago, 84, of 1316 Fairy Falls Dr., died at 10:50 a.m. Monday in County Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Born July 14, 1893, in Philo, she was a daughter of Len and Cora Longley Sheppard. She graduated from Cosocton Hospital School of Nurshing in 1916. SHe formerly attended Grace United Methodist Church. She was married in 1916 to James W Crago, who survivies. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs James (Ruth) Johnson, Coshocton; son, Maurice Crago, Long Beach, Calif.; sister Mrs William (Lelia) Gamble, St Petersburg, Fla., three grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Two brothers and a sister are deceased. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Dawson Funeral Home in charge of Rev Forrest Waller. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.

Robert H. Crossley, 79, Coshocton Route 3, died at 2:30 a.m. today at Bethesda Hospital, Zanesville, where he had been a patient for two weeks. He was a retired coal miner and was born July 17, 1891 in Conesville, a son of Frank and Kate Savage Crossley. On June 17, 1916, he was married to Sarah Jane Schoenberger, who survives. He was a member of the Salvation Army. In addition to his wife, survivors are two sons, Frank, of Coshocton Route 5, and Robert F., of Coshocton; three brothers, George of Coshocton Route 2; John of West Coshocton, and Adam, of Detroit; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Bryant, Coshocton, and Mrs. Arthur (Jeanette) Senter, Coshocton Route 3; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, five step-great- grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren. Two brothers and one sister are deceased. Services are planned for 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the local Salavation Army Citadel in charge of Capt. Paul Satterlee. Burial will be in Canal Lewisville Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dawson Funeral Home 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Citadel from 1 p.m. until time for services.

PLUNKETT, John Anthony, 84, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, April 30, 2003. Mr. Plunkett was born in 1919, a son of the late George Harvey Plunkett and Alean Price Plunkett. He was a retired salesman with Ralston Purina and also a member of Pigg River Primitive Baptist Church in Franklin County, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Mary Akers Plunkett; two brothers, Dunnington Plunkett and George H. Plunkett, Jr.; one infant sister; his stepmother, Katherine J. Martin Plunkett; two stepsisters, Mary Martin and Myrtle Doss. Surviving are one daughter, Carol Sue Goodwin; three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Norma Plunkett, Grover and Barbara Plunkett, Jerry and Tricia Plunkett, all of Roanoke; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one stepbrother, C.A. (Neal) Martin and his wife, Vivian J. Martin of Boones Mill. Several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and other relatives survive. Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2003, at Oakey's South Chapel with Elder W. Lane Carter and Elder Junior L. Conner officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Oakey's South Chapel (989-3131).
