Mrs. Lillian Margaret (Gheen) Dennis, 66, of 215 Wayne avenue died at 7:58 p.m. Saturday in Bethesda Hospital after a three year illness. She was born in Zanesville, Sept 30, 1906, the daughter of Arthur and Alice Grove Jenkins. Surviving are her husband, Ted Dennis of McConnelsville Route 1; three daughters, Mrs. Walter (Bernetta) Church of 1141 Henry street, Mrs. Thomas (Melvina) Larrick of 808 Putnam avenue and Mrs. Ethel Lewis of 542 Putnam avenue; three sons, Harry Gheen of Adamsville road, Donald and Amos Gheen, both of 215 Wayne avenue; 30 grandchildren. A brother and two sisters are deceased. Friends may call oat DeLong and Baker Funeral Home 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. Bernetta Soufis, 71, of 1211 Elm street, died at 7:30 a.m. (Dec 5) at Bethesda Hospital following an illness of four years. She was born in Zanesville, July 18, 1897, a daughter of Mr. McMillen and Mrs. Alice Groves McMillen. Surviving are her husband, Samuel; a stepson, Thomas Soufis of Canton; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Dennis of Wayne avenue; a granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at DeLong and Baker Funeral Home.
