Carl W. (Cocky) Woerner, 54, of 1308 Henry street, died at 4:10 a.m. Sunday at his home following an apparent heart attack. Mr. Woerner was born Jun 19, 1909, at Glass Rock, a son of Fred and Dora Crawford Woerner. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Duncan Falls American Legion. He also was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church at Philo and Lafayette Lodge No 79, F&AM. He was employed by Mosaic Tile Company for 36 years and was superintendent of the kiln department when he died. Surviving are his widow, the former Wilma Stiles of the home, a son Carl J of the home, two daughters, Carol Ann of the home and Sally Jo of 123-1/2 Pine street, two brothers, Fred A of Zanesville Route 3 and Robert E of Adamsville road, two sisters, Mrs. Harold Greten of 650 lenox avenue and Mrs. Mabel Danhauer of 1044 Sevall street. Friends may call at DeLong and Baker Funeral home after 7 p.m. today. Lafayett Lodge F and A M No 79 will hold ritualistic services at 7:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
