Savage Funeral
The funeral of Mrs. Julia Longley Savage, aged 90, who passed away at the family residence Monday at 3 o'clock was held today at 2 o'clock at her late home. Rev. L. B. Douglas, resident pastor of the M. P. church officiated. Mrs. Savage was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Longley and was born in Morgan county. She was united in marriage with David Savage, a civil war veteran, deceased. She is survived by one one son, Robert Savage, a step-daughter, Mrs. Edward Longley, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was a faithful member of the M.P. church and was a worthy christian woman. Interment was made in the local cemetery at McConnelsville.

Ralph M. Church, 65, of 507 Rosemary avenue died at 5:13 a.m. Monday in Good Samaritan Medical Center where he had been a patient one week. He had been ill several years. Born Sept. 8, 1908 in Zanesville he was a retired employe of Zanesville Memorial Park. He was a member of Full Gospel Church and was a World War II veteran. Surviving are his widow the former Marguerite Barnes; five sons, Neal of Philadelphia, Pa, William of 1209 Putnam avenue. Walter of 507 Rosemary avenue, Carl of Nashport Route 1, and Harry of Route 2; a daughter, Mrs. John Holdren of Philadelphia, Pa,; two brothers, Walter Church of Henry street, and William Church of Dresden; two sisters, Mrs. J.F. Hague of Mingo Junction, and Mrs. Tom Pierce of Route 5; 23 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Delong and Baker Funeral Home.
