McConnelsville, O., Dec 25 - Frank Coulson, 74, a prominent citizen of Malta-McConnelsville, died in Athens, Saturday night, following more than two years illness. He was a retired Ohio Power company manager of the office in McConnelsville. Mr. Coulson was born in Malta, April 11, 1875, and was the son of the late Burleigh and Mary Wiseman Coulson. He was a member of Malta Methodist church of Corinthian Lodge No. 111. F & A. M. and a past president of the Malta-McConnelsville Rotary Club. His wife, Myrtle Henry Coulson died in April, 1948. Surviving are one sister, Miss Annie Coulson of McConnelsville and four neices, Mrs Wilda Brock and Mrs Dorothy Slee, both of Toledo and Mrs. Myrtle Ball and Mrs Berniece Stahl, both of Cleveland. The body was brought here to the Miller funeral home were funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Burial will be in McConnelsville cemetery. Masonic services will be held at the funeral home Monday evening.

Nell Hickey, 81, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at The Gardens. She was born Dec. 4, 1925, in Stonewall and had lived in the Sapulpa area most of her life. She was a graduate of Sapulpa High School and a member Sapulpa Historical Society and the First United Methodist Church. Nell was a retired bookkeeper, having worked for Family Federal, Herbert P. Johnson Agency and Pinkston Firestone. Nell is survived by daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Jim Pinkston of Glenpool; grandchildren Laura Longley and Paula Hamilton; great-grandchildren Joshua and Jessica Longley, Matthew, Elizabeth, Jonathan Hamilton; and sisters Nita Morton of Abilene, Texas and Wanda Goodman of Kellyville. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, at the Smith Funeral Chapel with Jim Pinkston officiating. Interment will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens under direction of the Smith Funeral Home. In lieu of other remembrances the family suggests donations to the Glenpool Church of Christ, Box 145 Glenpool, Okla. 74033.
