Dudley R Parker, Veteran Engineer, Called From Life
Dudley R Parker, 65, well known veteran engineer for the B & O Railroad passed away Wednesday night at 11 o'clock at Good Samariton hospital. He had been ill one week from pneumonia. Mr. Parker, a resident of Zanesville for many years had been employed by the railroad for the past 45 years. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, the Central Presybterian church and BPO Elks lodge in this city. He was a resident of the Clarendon hotel. The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ella Parker, of the home, and a daughter, Mrs Robert H Winefordner, of this city. The body was removed to the Dean funeral home. Funeral arrangements were incomplete last night.
