Terry Dillinger, rural Lorimor Services for Terry Dillinger, 8, rural Lorimor, who died June 13 from injuries in an automobile-truck accident, were held Tuesday, June 17 at the Peru Methodist Church with the Rev. Bob Epperson officiating. Burial was at the Peru Cemetery. Born in Creston of Feb. 25, 1978, he was the son of Dick D. and Raedene Timmerman Dillinger. Survivors include his parents; a twin brother, Jerry Ray; another brother, Jeffery Dean, 9; a sister, Jessica Jean, 6; grandparents, Richard and Lois Dillinger of Peru and Jennita and John Horner of Des Moines; and great-grandparents, Verle and Inez Dillinger of Peru, Grace and Elmer Decker of Winterset and Liston and Hazel Courtney of Oskaloosa.

Mrs. Opal Inman is Summoned Mrs. Opal Inman, 24, of Roseville, widow of Nimrod Inman died about 9 o'clock Sunday morning at Rocky Glen Sanitarium, McConnelsville, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Inman was a member of the Oakfield Methodist church. Surviving are a son, Edward Lee Inman, of the home; her father, Elbridge Strohl, of Deavertown; her mother, Mrs. Lulu Strohl, of Roseville; a paternal grandmother, Mrs. Cora Strohl, of Livingston, Ill; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Adda White, of Crooksville, and a brother, Robert Stohl, of Roseville. The body was removed to the Cannon & Cannon Funeral home at Crooksville and will be taken to the home of an aunt, Mrs. Walter Lewis, Croosksville - Deavertown road, Monday evening. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

CROOKSVILLE MAN IS KILLED IN FALL
Carlos Watts, 20, of Crooksville, was instantly killed at 7:30 Friday evening when he fell from the roof of a porch at his home on China street in that village. Persons near the scene of the tragedy summoned Dr. J. P. Workman, who found that Watts had sustained a broken neck in the fall. He said that death was instantaneous. Watts was married only a month ago and his bride was home at the time of the tragedy. The suicide theory was suggested to officials, although no motive was found and the death will be investigated.

KNOWLES, Leland Albright, 83, of Christiansburg, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 1993, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. Mr. Knowles was a retired captain of the Radford Army Ammunition Plant Security Force. He was a member of McDaniel Lodge #86, A.F.&A.M., where he was a 32nd degree mason, and a member of the Kazim Shrine Temple, Roanoke. He was very active in the Shriner's Crippled Children's Program. He is survived by his wife, Renva Weeks Knowles, Christiansburg; sister Ruby Graham, Christiansburg; eight nieces, Frances Shelor, Floyd, Jean Peters, Riner, Wilma Tisdale, Pittsburg, Kan., Helen Flaharty, McCune, Kan., Lora Biggs, Meritha Handy, both of Martinsville, Elizabeth Hale, Frederick, Md., Estelle Simmons, Pineville, W.Va.; two nephews, Walter Knowles, Riner, and Horatio Quessenberry, West Jefferson, N.C. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with Rev. Chuck McHose and Rev. Raymond Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Topeco Cemetery with graveside services by McDaniel Masonic Lodge #83. Friends may call at the Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd, where the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
