Deavertown Man Dies Wednesday at Athens
Robert Pickens Stanberry, a life-long resident of Deavertown, died at the Athens hospital Wednesday where he had been under treatment for several months. The deceased is survived by his wife, Lillian Inman- Stanberry, three sons, Charles, Raymond and Gene, of the home; and two daughters, Mrs. Robert Harper of Roseville, and Hattie May, of the home, Also surviving are his father, E.L. Stanberry of Deavertown; two brothers, Edgar R. Stanberry of Athens, O., and Elwood M. Stanberry of Fort Wayne, Ind., and two sisters, Mrs. Ronald Wilson and Miss Letha Stanberry, both of Crooksville. The deceased was a member of Doric Lodge, F. & A. M. of Deavertown. Masonic funeral services will be conducted by Doric lodge, No. 172, F.& A.M., in the York township high school auditorium at Deavertown, Saturday at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. C. P. Stotler will officiate and burial will be made in Deavertown cemetery by Cannon & Cannon.

Yet, again, we hope to meet thee,
When the day of life has fled;
And in Heaven we long to greet thee,
Where no farewell tears are shed.
Her funeral will take place this (Tuesday) afternoon, at one o'clock, from St. Luke's Church, Baltimore county.
