ZANESVILLE -- Hobart F. "Junior" Hinkle, 66, of 33 Grandview Drive, South Zanesville, formerly of Crooksville, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 2003, at his residence after a three-month illness. Born March 18, 1937, in Deavertown, he was a retired employee of Ferro Alloy Corp. and Bloomer Candy Co. He was a member of Eagles Lodge of Zanesville. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Nancy Henry Hinkle of the home; three daughters, Sherri (Roger Rupe) Hinkle of the home, Beth and Jeff Blagg of Nashport and Holly and Milton Jones of Livonia, Mich; two sons, Jeff Hinkle of Roseville and Dan and Sandy Hinkle of Crooksville; three sisters, Mary Hale of McConnelsville, Rosie and Howard Cox of Malta and Carrie Stevens of New Lexington; four grandchildren, Jeff and Lane Hinkle and Sarah and Seth Blagg; and one great-grandchild, Laikyn Blagg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hobart and Winifred Snide Hinkle Sr.; three brothers, Chuck Hubert and Robert Hinkle; and three sisters, Ellen Corder, Geraldine Wilson and Laura Musser. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20, 2003, at Goebel Funeral Home, John Robison officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.

Lucy Izella Pinkston went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006 at 5:38 a.m. Lucy is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Carroll Edward Pinkston, who passed away May 31, 1981, and one grandchild, Lynn Pinkston. She is survived by: her four children, Carolyn Redfearn and John, of Grove; Jimmy and Barbara Nell Pinkston, of Glenpool; Barbara Ann and Billy Ray Davis, of Sapulpa; and Jerry Lee and Susie Pinkston, of Midland, Texas; six grandchildren, Sandra and Fred Howard; Dianna and Jon Yandell; Laura Nell and Ky Longley; Paula and Jamie Hamilton; Kim and Tim White; and Stephen and April Palmer; 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and one on the way. Her service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006 at Green Hill Funeral Home with burial to follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens with the Rev. John H. Redfearn officiating. The family is requesting donations be made to Green Country Hospice. The family has chosen to entrust the care of the service to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home.
