Ex-Service Manager for White's Dies
William W. Moore, 56, of 721 Fountain square, former service manager at the White Chevrolet Company, died at his home at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday following a long illness. He suffered a stroke 16 years ago, forcing him to leave his position at White's. A native and life-long resident of Zanesville, Mr. Moore was born March 6, 1903, to Mrs. Sue Emrick Moore Gorby of the home and the late Charles D. Moore. He was a member of the Central Trinity Methodist Church. Surviving besides his mother are a daughter, Mrs. Wanda Adams of Gaysport, a brother, Charles B. (Brud) Moore of 215 Gant street, and three grandchildren. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Thursday at the Hillis Funeral Home where last rites at 2 p.m. Saturday will be conducted by the Rev. H.M. Carpenter, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
