A native of Charity, Va., she was retired from American Tobacco Co. Surviving are parents, Dean and Vergie Cockram of Eden; daughters, Vickie Doss, Kathy Myrick, both of Reidsville; son, James D. Arender of Fontana, Calif.; sisters, Patty Grogan of Oak Ridge, Tenn., Betty White of Eden; brothers, Cleatus R. Cockram of Rock Hill, Glynn F. Cockram of Eden; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild. The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 tonight, other times at the residence of daughter, Vickie Doss, 714 Montgomery St.

Longley Rites to Be Thursday
St Clairsville, O - Miss Daisy M Longley, former St Clairsville resident, died Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the home of her brother, Henry Longley, in Chattanooga, Tenn. Miss Longley, a daughter of the late John B and Alice Weldin Longley, was born in St. Clairsville but had resided in Tennessee the greater part of her life. In addition to the brother at whose home she died, is one sister, Mrs. Martha McDonough of Houston, Texas; Mrs. Wayne T VanCuren of East Main street, St. Clairsville, also Mrs. Harry Neff of Barnesville, and Miss Ella Kent Longley of Ludington , Mich., are nieces. Following services in Chattanooga, Tenn, the body will arrive at the Beck funeral home late Wednesday night. Brief services will be held at the Union cemetery Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev I O Woodall of the Presbyterian church, St Clairsville, in charge.
