William James Gamble, 70, of Silver Springs, Md., a former Coshocton resident, died Friday at Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Springs, Md. Mr. Gamble was a retired U.S. Government employe having been associated with the Department of Interior. He had lived in both Silver Springs and St. Petersburg, Fla. Survivors are his wife, Leilia; one daughter, Mrs. John (Majorie) Oden, Kensington, Md., one son, M-Sgt Edward M. Gamble, U.S. Air Force, North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC; one brother, Fred Gamble and one sister, Miss Elizabeth Gamble, both of Columbus, and one sister, Mrs. George (Caroline) Ritenour, Texas, two grandchildren. He was a member of the Coshocton Masonic Lodge and the Episcopal Church. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Dawson Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Neil Roller. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.,. Monday, and until time for services Tuesday. Masonic rites will be held at 7 p.m. Monday.
