Mrs. Ruth L. Moore, 55, of 215 Gant street died at 3 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 24) in Good Samaritan Hospital where she had been a patient sinch Wednesday. She had been ill six years. A native of Zanesville, she was born Feb 7, 1913, a daughter of William and Lena Brock Daugherty. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Surviving are her husband Charles (Brud) Moore of the home; a daughter, Miss Linda Moore of the home; and two sisters, Mrs. Earl (Edna) Kappel of Cuba, N.Y. and Miss Alicia Daugherty of the home. The body is at Hillis Funeral Home where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. today and Monday.

Little Child Dies of Membraneous Croup
Ralph R. Stanley, aged 4, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Stanley of the Mill Run road, died at 7 o'clock Tuesday evening following a three days' illness of membraneous croup. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Robert William and two sisters, Mary Louise and Betty jane.

EASTER E. LONGLEY, 73, died Friday (Oct 17, 1997) at home. Born in Churubusco, she lived in Fort Wayne most of her life. She retired in 1976 as a clerk and bookkeeper for A&PTea Company after 11 years. She was past-president of the Northside Mother's Alumni and Parent Teacher Association. Her husband, Robert D., died in 1988. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia A. Swaidner of Roanoke; two sons, Douglas R. of Fort Wayne and Ronald D. of Wakefield, Mich.;two sisters, Berniece Lewis of Fort Wayne and Genevieve Pepple of Hudson; her mother, Elsie Freeman of Leo; and four grandchildren.Services at 2 p.m. Monday at Spring Street Wesleyan Church, 1835 Spring St. Calling from 2 to 8 p.m. today at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road, and an hour before services at the church. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to the church.
