Michael Hunter
Celina native Michael E. Hunter, 55, 4400 W. Missouri Ave., Glendale, Ariz., died at 3:59 p.m. Oct. 26 at Osborn Hospital, Scottsdale, Ariz. Death was due to long-term complications from a brown recluse spider bite he received while camping. He was born Sept. 27, 1946, in Celina, to Robert and Charleen (Fark) Hunter. They survive in St. Marys. On Aug. 24, 1985, he married Rhonda Jean Smith and she survives. Also surviving are a son, Christopher of Charlotte, N.C., and a sister, Nancy Koch, St. Marys. He was employed in the shipping and receiving department at Health & Home Store, Phoenix, Ariz. A U.S. Navy veteran, he served from 1965 to 1984 and was held as a prisoner of war in Vietnam for two years. He was a 1965 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys, and a baptised and confirmed member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, St. Marys. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home Grand Lake Chapel, 1605 Ohio 703 West, St. Marys, the Rev. Patricia Minnick officiating. Burial with military rites will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys. Calling is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions can be made to any charity that benefits children.

Mrs. Sue A. Watts, 72, Conesville, died at Newark City hospital yesterday at 10:30 a.m. following an illness of one year. Mrs. Watts had been the postmaster at Conesville for 25 years until her retirement in 1948. She was born June 25, 1884, in Adams Mills, a daughter of Thomas and Mary Whitingham Tilton. On Dec. 22, 1904, she married Edward Watts, who died in 1931. Surviving are two sons, Victor Watts, Canton and Edward Watts, Newark; one daughter, Mabel Watts, Conesville; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Darner and Mrs. Flo Vickers, Adams Mills; one brother, Edwin Tilton, san Diego Calif., and five grandchildren. One sister and three brothers are deceased. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Dawson funeral home with Rev. S. C. Garrabrandt officiating. Burial will be in South Lawn cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Tuesday and until time of the service Wednesday.
