Richard W. Savage, 82, formerly of Barberton, Ohio, died Thursday,
March 4, 2004, at Helmwood Health Care Center. A native of Akron,
Ohio, he was a retired chemist at 3M Co. in Copley, Ohio, and a World
War II Army Air Corps veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife,
Rita Lees Savage on Jan. 23, 2003; a brother, Turner Savage; and his
parents, Earnest and Katherine Turner Savage. Survivors include
three sons, Richard Savage and his wife Caroline of Elizabethtown,
Robert Savage and his wife Karen of Bonner Springs, Kan., and Jon
Savage of Barberton, Ohio; a sister, Betty Bahn of Akron; and three
grandchildren, Jennifer, Rick and Elizabeth Savage. The funeral is
11 a.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home with Chaplain (Lt. Col.)
Patrick Dolan officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown
Memorial Gardens. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Saturday until time
of service at the funeral home.

Eula K. Ray
Eula "Judy" Knowles Ray, 74, of Meadows of Dan, died Friday, April
19, 2002, at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County.
A Patrick County native, she was the daughter of the late Willie
Knowles and Illian Boyd Knowles, and was preceded in death by her
husband, William A. "Mutt" Ray Sr.; a sister, Glennie Reynolds;
and three brothers, Clyde, James, and Hassell "Hank" Knowles. She
was a longtime member of Dan River Primitive Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Diane Ferguson of Collinsville; three
sons, Roger Ray and Jeff Ray, both of Bassett and William A.
"Billy" Ray Jr. of Martinsville; five grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; one sister, Cassie McPeak of Meadows of Dan;
and four brothers, Pete Knowles and Kennard Knowles, both of Ohio,
Arnold Knowles of Sterling and Virgil Knowles of Martinsville. The
funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Moody Funeral Home in
Stuart with Elder Donnie Conner officiating. Burial will be in the
Knowles-Eden family cemetery. The family will receive friends at
Moody Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today.

Eula K. Ray
A funeral for Eula "Judy" Knowles Ray, 74, of Meadows of Dan, who
died April 19, 2002, was held Monday at Moody Funeral Home in
Stuart, with Elder Donnie Conner officiating. Burial followed in
the Knowles-Eden family cemetery. Pallbearers were Dwayne Ray,
Charlie Ray, Stephen Ferguson, Ray Helms, Billy Handy, Kennard
Knowles and Ronnie Cassell.

ARLINGTON - Richard E. Mooneyham, 55, a self-employed paint
contractor, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2002, in Arlington.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial:
Pinecrest Cemetery in Calhoun City, Miss. Memorials: The family
requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to the American Liver
Foundation. Richard Mooneyham was born Dec. 12, 1946, in Vardaman,
Miss. He was a graduate of Calhoun City High School and spent his
adult life in Gulfport, Miss., and Fort Worth. Mr. Mooneyham was a
Mason and a veteran of the US Navy having served in the Vietnam War.
He touched the lives of all who knew him and he will be greatly
missed by many, including the friends he made as a friend of Bill
W. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Mooneyham.
Survivors: His son, James Mooneyham and wife, Amanda; granddaughter,
Samantha; stepdaughters, Lori Favre of Gulfport, Miss., Lisa Burge
of Bogalusa, La., and Jennifer Star Brown of Killeen;
stepgrandchildren, Justin, Anthony, Nicholas and Taylor; mother,
Hazel Huffman of Arlington; father and stepmother, Richard and Marie
Mooneyham of Calhoun City, Miss.; brother, Mark Mooneyham of Oxford,
Miss.; sister, Alice Johnson; sister-in-law, Jo Hollis-Hays of
Arlington; four nephews; four nieces; and two great-nieces. Mount
