FARMER DIES AT ROCKVILLE HOME
Milton E. Merrill, 73, Had Lived in Vicinity Since 18; Managed Farm
Milton E. Merrill, 73, died at his farm home near Rockville last evening at 5:30. Death was caused by complications of old age. Mr. Merrill was born on April 15, 1855 at Bangor, Maine. When he was 13 years of age he came to this state and established the farm home two and a half miles east of Rockville, where he had lived and actively farmed ever since. He is survived by his wife, and a son and daughter, Frank and Eileen, at home, and James of Minneapolis and Murvale at Little Falls. Two sisters, Mrs. C.A. Bensen of Minneapolis and Mrs. Lillian Heins of California and one brother, Herbert of Montana, also survive. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home and burial will be made in the family lot in the Davis cemetery on Route 5. Rev. Opie Rindahl of the Norwegian Lutheran church of this city will officiate.
