Necomerstown - Mrs. Anna Snell, 74, of 331 W. Neighbor St., Newcomerstown, died at 4:48 a.m. today at County Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient two weeks. She was born June 20, 1898, in Coshocton County, a daughter of John and Rachel Peebles Savage. On April 15, 1925, she was married to Bert Snell, who died Sept. 21, 1958. Mrs. Snell was a member of the Newcomerstown Nazarene Church and the Ladies Bible Class. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Ella) Durben, Newcomerstown; one son, Master Sgt. Delbert Snell, U.S. Air Force, Ft. meade, Md.; two step sons, Homer Snell, Newcomerstown and Vernon Snell, Newcomerstown Route 3; one brother, the Rev. Eugene Savage, New Castle, Ind.; seven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild and 17 step-great-grandchildren. One step daughter and three brothers are deceased. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at the Newcomerstown Nazarene Church with the rev. Gerald Morgan officiating. Burial will be in the Otsego Community Cemetery. Friends may call at the Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown Saturday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
