She came here in 1985 from her native Crooksville, Ohio, where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Higher Ideals Music Club, Garden and Crafts Club and a 50-year member of the Starlite Chapter 239 Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include a daughter Phoebe A. Raymond and a grandson Erik W. Raymond, both of Pinellas Park. Bobbitt Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services for Jacob M. Stanley, 69, will be conducted from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jasper Evans in Chatham Road, Newark, Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery in this city. Mr. Stanley, a former resident of Zanesville, died Wednesday at the home of his daughter. He had been at the home of Mrs. Evans four weeks going there from Manchester where he had been staying with his son, Jacob Stanley. His death was attributed to complications following the removal of his left eye, suffered when a piece of wood struck the eye while he was splitting kindling wood while at the home of his son in Manchester. The son of Amos Stanley, he was a native of Morgan county. He had been retired 14 years and prior to that was in the employ of the Herdman Lumber company in Zanesville as a yardman for several years. Three daughters, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Forrest Tewksbury of East Fultonham, Mrs. Lloyd Kleinhoffer of Zanesville and two sons, Earl Stanley of Washington, D.C., and Jacob Stanley of Manchester, survive; also four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is the last of his generation. Mr. Stanley was a member of the Nazarene church of Manchester. The body has been removed from the Criss Brothers funeral home to the home of the daughter.
