The Zanesville Signal, Zanesville, Ohio, Monday, November 29, 1948
George Theodore Rudolph, 61, died suddenly late yesterday afternoon
at his home in McConnelsville. Mr. Rudolph had been employed all his
life at the C. Findeiss Sons Co., Here. Surviving are his widow, Etta;
a son, Jerry, and a daughter, Betty, both of McConnelsville; two brothers,
John and Frank Rudolph, both of this city; a step-son, Don Baker of Lorain;
a step-daughter, Mrs. Verna Wood of McConneslville; two sisters, Mrs.
Carrie Grozier of Pomeroy and another in California, and two step-grandchildren.
The body has been removed to the Fisher funeral home at McConnelsville.

RYGAARD: Pearl Rygaard, 94, of Effingham, Kansas, passed away Monday,
September 17, 2007 at the Atchison Senior Village. A Celebration of
Life Service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 22, 2007 at St.
Mark's Lutheran Church in Atchison. Burial will follow in the Sunset
Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 8:30 PM on
Friday, September 21, 2007 at the O'Trimble Funeral Home in
Nortonville, KS. Memorial contributions are suggested to final
expenses and may be left in care of the funeral home. Condolences
to the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com. Pearl was
born on October 26, 1912 in Troy, KS the daughter of Charles and Olga
(Gurwell) Cox. She graduated from Bendena High School. Mrs. Rygaard
was a homemaker for most of her life and was a member of the St.
Mark's Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Home Demonstration
Unit for 50 years. Pearl was also on the Altar Guild and a member
of WELCA at the church. Pearl was an excellent cook and enjoyed
playing piano for the Cox Sister Orchestra, fishing and crocheting
in her later years. She married Gene Rygaard on October 23, 1934 in
Bendena, KS. He preceded her in death on August 25, 1977. Her parents
and sisters Daisy and Zelma Handke also preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Wayne Rygaard and his wife Janet, and a
daughter, Marcia Rygaard both of Effingham, KS; 5 grandchildren, 12
great-children and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and
great-nephews.

Mrs. Allie Lear Robinson, 77, of 141 South Fifth street was found
dead at her home this morning according to Dr. S. S. Daw, coroner.
Death resulted from a heart ailment. She was born in Shawnee but
had resided in this city for 40 years. Her husband, George, preceded
her in death. She is survived by two brothers, Frank and George
Lear, both of McLuney, and two sisters, Mrs. Faye Epperd of Columbus
and Mrs. Margaret Brown of Crooksville. Funeral services will be
held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Keck funeral home with
burial in Iliff cemetery in McLuney. The body will remain at the
funeral home.
