STONEVILLE- Glynn Franklin Cockram, 73, of 106 Django Drive, died Monday night, Oct. 17, 2005, at Morehead Memorial Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Cockram was born in Henry County, Va., to the late Dean Potter and Vergie Roberson Cockram. He was a very active member of the Eden Moose Lodge and was retired from Ford Motor Company. Surviving are wife Carol Broadus Cockram of the home; daughter Debra and son Gregory Cockram, both of Michigan; stepchildren, Vicky McCollum and husband Danny of Westland, Mich., James Driggett and wife Brenda of Lincoln Park, Mich., Christina Driggett of Westland, Mich.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Patty Grogan and husband Bobby of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Betty White and husband John of Eden; beloved pet "Ernie". In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ethelyene C. Arender and brother Cleatus "Steve" Cockram. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Fair Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Church of the Epiphany, 538 Henry Street, Eden, NC 27288.
