It wasn't the shot he objected to but the position!
Late yesterday afternoon Donald Gheen, 11, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gheen of near Philo, went with other members of his family to the County Health Office on Maple avenue to get a shot for a sore throat. Donald didn't mind the thought of the shot so much but when the nurse asked him to lower his trousers to get the shot in the hip, he put his foot down. In fact he put both of them down and late last night was still running and had not gone home, police said.
