Jerry J. Hickman, 59, of Rogers, Ark., died Thursday, March 30, 2006, at his home. He was born Oct. 11, 1946, in Bentonville, Ark., to Jack Hickman and Virginia Hickman. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas and served in the U.S. Navy. He worked with his father for several years at Hickman Printing Co. in Rogers. He was employed with the Wal-Mart Print and Mail Distribution Center for 17 years. Most recently, he had been employed by RM Computer Systems of Springdale, Ark. He was baptized into the Church of Christ. He enjoyed sailboat racing, woodworking, traveling and watching NASCAR races. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Jeanne Hickman; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jason Hickman and Charissa Hickman of Rogers and John Hickman and Ashley Hickman of Springdale, Ark.; two sisters, Connie Carter of Rogers and Marie Easterling of Farmington, Ark.; three grandsons, Cole Hickman and Blake Hickman, both of Rogers, and Hamilton Hickman of Springdale; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service was held Thursday April 6, at the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel with Jackie Chestnut and Jim Caldwell. Arrangements were by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers. Memorials may be made to the Green Valley Bible Camp, in care of the Southside Church of Christ, 919 S. Dixieland Road, Rogers, AR 72756; or to the Rogers Education Foundation, 212 S. Third St., Rogers, AR 72756.

Jean Ann Durben, 3, of Newcomerstown, Route 3, died at 1:35 a.m. today in Coshocton County Memorial hospital where she had been a patient since Thursday. An autopsy is to be performed to determine the exact cause of death. She was born Oct. 31, 1967, at Coshocton, the daughter of David and Noralyn Jean Ward Durben. Also surviving are paternal greandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Durben, Newcomerstown; maternal grandparents, the Rev. and Mrs. Benson Ward, Zanesville; great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Durben, Guernsey Route 2, and Mrs. Anna Snell, Newcomerstown. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Ourant Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wesley Frederick officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
