FALL PROVES FATAL TO TODD FORKER
Todd Forker, 76-year-old retired farm worker who had spent most of his life in Dresden and Madison township, died at 9:20 p.m. Thursday of a broken neck sustained at 825 Monroe street where he had made his home the past two months. He had been taken Wednesday from Bethesda hospital to University hospital in Columbus where he died. He was treated for a fractured vetebra in his neck. He had fallen and struck his head in a hall way on the second floor of the home on Monroe street, aides at the local hospital said. Never married, he was born in Madison township. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Sallie Crozier of Dresden and Mrs. Fannie Fern Bowden of California; four brothers, Jesse Forker of Dresden, Frank Forker of Urichsville, William Forker and James Forker of Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews. The body was removed to the Baughman and Sons funeral home at Dresden.
