Funeral services for Wilber Jones, 56, of Malta, who died Friday at Good Samaritan hospital, will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Keck funeral home with Rev. Duncan Weeks officiating. Burial will be in the McConnelsville cemetery. Mr. Jones died from injuries sustained a week ago when run over by a truck at Malta. He was born in McConnelsville and had lived there and in Zanesville most of his life. He was a member of the Methodist church and was a painter and interior decorator. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Doverspike of 924 Price street; Mrs. Eleanor Watts of 139 Watts street, and Mrs. Kathryn Baesel of 922 Price street; two brothers, Robert and Raymond Jones, both of 922 Price street; a sister, Mrs. Marie Allensworth of Uhrichsville; three brothers, Herbert of McConnelsville; Roscoe Jones of Zanesville, and Howard Jones of Athens, and two grandchildren.

Phillip N. Munyan - A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday for Phillip N. Munyan, 68, of Newark, in the Rehoboth Cemetery New Lexington. Mr. Munyan died Sept. 2, 2004, in Newark. He was born March 7, 1936, in Perry County to the late Ernest and Jerusha (Savage) Munyan. Mr. Munyan retired from the Liebert and Toski LLC after 44 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Patricia, of 50 years; sons Jeffrey (Jean) Munyan, James (Sherry) Munyan; daughter Tina (Jeffrey) Swonger; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers William and James Munyan; sister, Naomi Thomas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Terri L. Martin, sister Flora Mae Weekley and one great granddaughter Taylor McHenry. Contributions may be directed to the United Pentecostal Church Tile Road New Lexington. Arrangements by Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home 179 Granville Street.
