Mrs. Laura Watts, 49, of 322 Hedgewood avenue died at 7:15 p.m. Thursday in Good Samaritan medical Center from an apparent heart attack. She had been admitted to the hospital earlier in the afternoon. She was born Dec. 24, 1912, in Crooksville, a daughter of Fred and Leola Taylor Moore. Mrs. Watts was a member of Crooksville First Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Penny Lou Tharp of the home; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Brown of Crooksville, Mrs. Thelma Godshall of Harrisburg, Pa., Mrs. Lee (Cleo) Wiseman of Brownsville and Mrs. Teresa N. Knight of Lancaster; three grandchildren and two aunts. Her husband, preceded her in death in 1958. A brother is also deceased. Friends may cal 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at DeLong and Baker Funeral Home.
