Dorothy C. Longley, 94, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, March 11, 2007, at a local hospital. She was of the Protestant faith. She was born in Rockwood, Tn., and lived in Chattanooga most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Iliff C. Longley. She is survived by her daughters, Bobby (Robert) Stevens, Beverly Longley and Lynda (Charles) Bridgman-Morgan; grandchildren, Greg (Melissa) Stevens, Jennifer (Jack) Elwood, Randy Stevens, Michael Jr. and Mark Bridgman; great-grandchildren, Leslie, Cole, Jacob and Tyler Stevens, Jamie and Jessica Elwood; brother, Paul (Cora) Cobb; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. David Graves and Dr. David McNabb officiating. Interment will follow in Plowman Cemetery, Apison. Her family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonand sons.com.
