CARSON, MRS. BILLIE ANN WOLGAMOTT - 81, of 48 W. Deer Trail, Belton, S.C., formerly of Chattanooga, Tenn., wife of the late William Jay Carson, died Tues., Feb. 23, 1999, at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville. Born in Cleveland, Tenn., a daughter of the late William F. and Lucy Jane Longley Wolgamott, she was a homemaker, a school volunteer and a Hospice Volunteer. She was a member of Cohutta Church of Christ in Cohutta, Ga. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Pat C. and Palo O'Neal of Oak Ridge, Tenn. and Linda C. and Larry Jenkins of Belton; four beloved grandchildren, Carson Cooper of St. Petersburg, Fla., Cathy Fulgham of Chicago, Ill., Laura Anderson and Dan Jenkins, both of Greenville, S.C.; a niece, Alethea Bushaw of Tacomo, Wash.; and a nephew, Walter Hanner of Wheaton, Md. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 1999, in the chapel of J. Avery Bryan Funeral Home, 747 McCallie Ave., Chattanooga, TN, conducted by Bro. J.C. Watkins. Burial will be in McDonald Cemetery, Ootlewah, Tenn. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 300 Coffee St., Greenville, SC 29601. The family will be at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Larry Jenkins, 48 W. Deer Trail, Belton, S.C. Robinson Funeral Home, Easley, in charge of local arrangements.
