John Dane Devore, 47. We are celebrating the life of John Dane
Devore. He passed away on April 29, 2005 doing what he loved most,
fishing at Bartlett Lake. He is survived by his love of 19 years
Patty, as well as his Grandmother Evelyn, his two sons John David
and Mike, three stepdaughters Kathy, Laura and Rachel and two
grandaughters. He is also survived by his siblings Mona, Bob and
Connie. Including several more family and friends that deeply loved
him. John is preceded in death by his parent's Aaron Devore and
Ramona Matthews. John's hobbies included Auto and Horse Racing,
fishing and spending time with his grandaughter Maia. He was a
long time employee and good friend of Mike and Cheryl Gibson of
Guarantee Auto. John will be remembered as a great person to be
around and always had a way to make everyone smile. We will always
love and miss you Big John (sweetheart, daddy, brother, friend and
papa). Services will be held at Harper Funeral Home 1242 E.
Jefferson Phx, AZ Saturday May 7th at 10:00 am.

Carolyn Nall to be Married
Mr and Mrs Albert J Noll of 1559 Hickory street have announced the
engagement of their daughter, Carolyn May, to Richard R Wymer, son
of Mrs Frank Yerman on Linden avenue and the late Ernest Wymer. The
wedding will be performed Monday, November 25, at 8:45 o'clock in the
St. Nicholas Catholic church. Open church will be observed. Miss
Noll is a graduate of St Nicholas high school and is a member of St
Nicholas church. She is employed as a supervisor by the Ohio Bell
Telephone company. Mr Wymer also is a graduate of St Nicholas school
and is a member of St Thomas church. He is employed at Huffman's
Clock restaurant.

ZANESVILLE -- Richard Roland Wymer, 79, of Zanesville, died at
11:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at his residence in Zanesville.
Born Dec. 19, 1923, in Zanesville, the son of Ernest E. Wymer and
Margaret Wolfe Wymer-Yerman. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic
Church. He retired in 1986 from the Ohio Bell & Ameritech Telephone
Company following 37 1/2 years of service. He served as a Seaman
First Class with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a life
member and past post commander of the VFW Post 1058, where he served
for many years on the Military Honor Guard detail. He was a life
member of the Elks Lodge 114, a life member of the K of C Council
505 and a member of the American Legion Post 29. Surviving are his
wife of 57 1/2 years, Carolyn Mae Noll Wymer whom he married Nov. 25,
1946; a son, Rick and daughter-in-law, Char and grandsons Dusty and
Ricky Wymer, all of Westerville; a sister, Mary Margaret (Larry)
Murphy of Zanesville; sister-in-law, Mary Lou (Joe) Worstall of
Zanesville; and several neices and nephews. He was preceded in death
by his parents; and a brother, Vincent Yerman. Friends may call
from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the Hillis Funeral Home, 935
Forest Ave. with the Christian Vigil Service being held at 3:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at
the St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Father James Csaszar as
celebrant. The burial will follow in the Mount Olive Cemetery. The
Military Honor Guard will be provided by the VFW Post 1058 at the
cemetery following the Mass.
